20071015 long time, no post

wow. almost a month since the last post. this is not good. i'll back-track just a wee bit.

just after burning man i started in with my new mamiya 6 that shoots squares on FILM. it's the first rangefinder camera i have ever really played with and so far i love most everything about the camera. except that as per usual, it takes me awhile to get to the lab so film usually piles up before i see any of it. i'm sitting on another pile now...but here are a few from the very first round....

they are of my good friend rob and his pups, lady and brubeck, in pdx, the ethiopian new year, playboy bunnies at the VMA after-party red carpet and my bestfriend, annie and her husband, jose.







the last month found a lot of time with family and friends, including a visit with my cousin, brentley, who i hadn't seen in more than five + years. a highlight was climbing griffiths peak northwest of vegas on the perfect autumn day. it was the only foliage i glimpsed in the southwest this year.
