20080406 nearing return....

so i've been reevaluating what i want this blog to be for me. thoughts on the intention of this sharing are blooming and i think will find a return soon.

as spring envelops us here in vegas and the sun returns to her crusade of gathering strength for the reliably brutal summer to come, i cracked a book of poems by ginsberg today. in an introduction about the poet's writings, william carlos williams wrote:

"he proves to us, in spite of the most debasing experiences that life can offer a man, the spirit of love survives to ennoble out lives if we have the wit and the courage and the faith - and the art! to persist."
